Doncaster Rovers have signed young Premier League midfielder Riccardo Calder on loan.
Twenty year old Riccardo Calder has joined Rovers from Aston Villa on loan and will be with us until the end of the season. The left footed midfielder has been at Villa since 2005, making the first team squad on a matchday a number of times.Calder has spent time on loan at Dundee this season and made his debut in a 1-0 away win at Patrick Thistle in September. He returned to Aston Villa in January and has regularly featured in their Under 21 side since.
He has also played international football, representing England Under 17’s a number of times.
