Young Lions to now take on Canadian counterparts after withdrawal of original opponents.

England Under-20s will now take on Canada Under-20s at Doncaster Rovers’ Keepmoat Stadium on 27th March 2016 (4pm).

The match-up will be Keith Downing’s first in permanent charge of the age group having been formally appointed last month.

Canada’s youngsters are set to provide a stiff test after original opponents Ghana withdrew.

The game at Doncaster will be the U20s' first fixture of 2016 and the first Three Lions game at the stadium in three years.

On that occasion,  Noel Blake's Under-19s beat Denmark 3-1 in February 2013 with the likes of John Stones, Eric Dier, Calum Chambers and Chuba Akpom all involved that evening.

Tickets for the game in Doncaster are on sale and cost just £3 for adults and £1.50 for concessions.

They can be purchased directly from Doncaster Rovers by clicking here or by calling 01302 762576.
