England Squad Announced For Keepmoat Outing

18 March 2016

England Under-20s head coach Keith Downing has named a 20-man squad for his side’s forthcoming game at Doncaster’s Keepmoat Stadium on Easter Sunday (27 March, kick off 4pm).

Canada U20s are the opposition heading to the Keepmoat, as the Young Lions aim to continue their recent run of good form on home soil.

 

The game is the first match in permanent charge for Downing, who had previously been in temporary charge of the team and has already enjoyed wins against the Czech Republic, Holland and Turkey.

 

England Under 20s squad in full:

 

Goalkeepers:Angus Gunn (Manchester City) Ted Smith (Southend United),

 

Defenders:Ola Aina (Chelsea), Mason Holgate (Everton), Reece Burke  (Bradford City - on loan from West Ham), Harry Toffolo (Peterborough - on loan from Norwich City), Jake Cooper (Reading), Kean Bryan (Manchester City),

 

Midfielders:Harry Winks (Tottenham Hotspur), Bryn Morris (Walsall - on loan from Middlesbrough), Joe Williams (Everton), Charlie Colkett (Chelsea), James Maddison (Coventry - on loan from Norwich), Kasey Palmer (Chelsea).

 

Forwards:Ryan Kent (Liverpool), Brandon Barker (Manchester City), Alex Gilliead (Carlisle Utd - on loan from Newcastle), Ashley Fletcher (Barnsley - on loan from Manchester United), Marcus Rashford (Manchester United), Rees Greenwood (Sunderland).
