Club Doncaster's Charity partnership with British Heart Foundation kicks off.
Following the exciting news that the British Heart Foundation is the new Official Charity Partner of Club Doncaster, approximately 40 volunteers were fundraising prior Saturday’s Sky Bet League One fixture against Shrewsbury Town.One of the aims of the partnership is to raise monies to support charity’s life saving research, to find ground-breaking new ways to prevent, treat and cure heart and circulatory disease.
Through the public’s generosity, the BHF will fund half a billion pounds of new research over the next five years which will be central to discovering vital treatments for people living with these conditions.
Every pound raised from the partnership will go towards funding this life saving science which is so urgently needed to help save more lives as the charity battles against diseases that affect close to 40,000 people in Doncaster alone.
