Mother of youngster Liam Morrison to raise funds for local clinic.

Lynsey McCabe, mother of young Rovers fan Liam Morrison – who was recently seen on the Keepmoat Stadium pitch at half time – is raising funds for PACT (Parents Association of Children with Tumours and Leukaemia) to help the Sheffield Children's Hospital oncology clinic.

Liam has almost finished his 3rd stage of high dose chemo and is coping really well and Lynsey with the help of a staggering 19 friends are partaking in the 5k “Pretty Mudder” run at Clumber Park on the 2nd of July.

Lynsey said: “They plan to completely remodel the unit by 2017 and make it a more comfortable and relaxing environment for the children who are having life saving treatment. Liam currently attends the clinic every week for his treatment and the doctors and nurses are amazing and always make Liam feel safe and relaxed.

“I would love to be able to give something back to this amazing place and in the future other sick children can enjoy this place while they go through such a tough time in their live.

“Any help with this would be wonderful. Liam touched a lot of hearts that night on the pitch and I'm just hoping people could help us out.”
