Darren Ferguson has boosted his attacking options with the addition of Gary McSheffrey until the end of the season.
Able to play on the left wing or as a striker, 33 year old Gary McSheffrey will be with Rovers until the end of the season.McSheffrey began his professional career with Coventry City but in 2006 they accepted an offer valued at £4 million from Birmingham City. Since then has gone on to play for Nottingham Forest, Leeds United and Chesterfield, before signing for Scunthorpe United in 2014.
The experienced winger has made more than 400 appearances in the Football League and the Premier League.
McSheffrey will wear the number 7 shirt and everyone at Doncaster Rovers would like to welcome him to the club.
