Rovers to wear black armbands in show of respect to former Media Manager.
Doncaster Rovers players and staff will pay tribute to former Media Manager Steve Uttley, who passed away recently, by wearing black armbands in the fixture against Scunthorpe United on Tuesday evening.
Steve’s untimely passing at the age of 58 has shocked the club and there are plans afoot to commemorate him in a fitting way, such as a minute’s applause at the Peterborough United fixture on March 19th.
Discussions about celebrating the wonderful work of Steve in other ways at the club will be discussed with Steve’s family and at an appropriate time.
