Everyone at Doncaster Rovers is deeply disappointed that this wonderful club has been relegated to the fourth tier of league football.
We are conscious that this was far from our plans when we started this campaign in August and we now must immediately look to plan ahead with our goal to re-establish this club in League One with the ultimate aim of challenging for promotion to the Championship.Your support this season both home and away has been inspirational and has helped us win points throughout the campaign. Please don’t forget that. We thank you and please do trust us that we are all hurting with you at this tough time. You, our supporters are integral to the success of this club and working together as we have done so well this year we want you to help us back to League One at the first attempt.
We will communicate again very soon and will be explicit as regards to our aspirations for next season and how we believe these aspirations will be achieved. As always thank you for your brilliant support and for showing us that you truly are “Rovers Til I Die”.
