Children from across the Doncaster Borough have the opportunity to replicate their heroes this summer with a series of Football Development Courses based at the Keepmoat Stadium.
Delivered by fully qualified UEFA B and Level 2 coaches, the courses include three days of football, a pitch side presentation, a stadium tour and even a meet and greet with Donny Dog.
Four successful courses have already been delivered at the Keepmoat Stadium but there is still time to book onto the fifth and final course starting Tuesday 22 August.
Delighted with the courses so far, community officer for schools development, Dean Sharp said: “Throughout the summer we have been offering Doncaster children the opportunity to develop their skills here at the Keepmoat Stadium.
“Using our highly qualified coaching staff we have progressed each participant to achieve their best.
“We hope that our facilities can inspire these children to continue playing football and reach their potential, it would be great if one of these children could make a journey all the way to the first team.”
The courses are for children aged 7-9 and 9-11 and cost just £30 for three full days of football including the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Children must wear shin pads while on the courses and have a change of footwear and a packed lunch with them ready for a 9am start. Children can be collected at 3:30pm at the end of each day.
