Players and staff at Club Doncaster have been taking part in Save The Children’s annual Christmas Jumper Day.
Staff based at the Keepmoat Stadium and the Club Doncaster Elite Sport Centre at Cantley Park donned their best festive attire and made a financial donation to support the cause.
Money raised by the day will help the charity protect children in need around the world.
Club Doncaster chief executive Gavin Baldwin, who took part in the day, said: “Save The Children is a worthy cause which helps young people in need, and I’m pleased to see so many of our staff help make the world better with a sweater.
“At this time of year many of us reflect on those less fortunate than ourselves, and I’m very proud that the Club Doncaster staff continue to do so much to help local and national charities.”
Rovers club captain Andy Butler said: “The players are happy to take part in Christmas Jumper Day - and there are some real shockers in there!
“There are quite a few parents in the squad, so it is a small gesture from us which is part of a really big national event. I am sure plenty of Rovers and Dons fans are also taking part in their school, college or workplace and look forward to seeing some of the best examples on social media later.”
