Fit Rovers

11 July 2017

Club Doncaster Foundation’s third Fit Rovers course has produced consistently excellent results, achieving a combined weight loss of eight stone, four pound.

The eight-week course has provided them with the chance to make dramatic life style changes with weekly interactive workshops and exercise sessions tailored to the needs of every individual.

Along with the impressive weight loss between them, the group also managed to drop a combined 103cm from their waist circumference.

Proud of the group’s continual hard work, programme leader, Scott Copeland said: “Once again the graduates from our latest Fit Rovers programme have achieved and surpassed the goals they set themselves in week one.

“Every single person has their own story and reasons for attending Fit Rovers and whilst stats like weight loss and waist circumference really stand out that’s not where the transformation ends.

“All 16 participants that completed the course showed an increase in their wellbeing as measured by the WHO 5 wellbeing index, 13 of these were deemed significant improvements.

“Other changes include increased consumption of fruit and veg, increased exercise levels and an increase in self confidence.

“Having completed a number of these courses now, we are confident that we can continue these fantastic results with our next group starting on August 10.

The results become the third consecutive success story from the Fit Rovers programme, as the participants continue to thrive under the guidance of the team.

Although the next course opens up for a new set of participants, the Fit Rovers Vets sessions allows graduates from the course to continue their weekly evening sessions held at the Keepmoat.
