Club Doncaster chief operating officer Liam Scully is to leave the organisation to become chief executive of Lincoln City.
Liam has had a long association with the company, acting as chief executive of Club Doncaster Foundation before becoming COO of Club Doncaster in 2015.
Liam said: “I have really enjoyed my time at Club Doncaster, and it has been a dream come true to work for a club I used to watch from the terrace as a boy.
“I’ve always looked out for their results in particular as I have family in the area and my parents spent their early married years living close to the Sincil Bank ground.
“I’d like to thank Gavin Baldwin and the owners, as well as every member of staff at Club Doncaster for being such brilliant colleagues.”
Club Doncaster chief executive Gavin Baldwin said: “It is with mixed emotions that we say goodbye to Liam. We are all aware of all he has achieved and the standards that he has set, while I am delighted as this is an incredible and well deserved opportunity for him.
“Liam has conducted himself with great integrity throughout the process. He leaves us having made a real difference to the growth of Club Doncaster, and Lincoln City can be assured they are in good hands.”
Liam’s final day with Club Doncaster will be Saturday August 5, before taking up his new role on Monday August 7.
