Saturday 24 June sees the fifth instalment of the Eve Merton Trust legends football match, which pits a team of ex- professionals against a team of local fundraisers.
The previous four games have seen great names such as Paul Merson, Des Walker & Darren Anderton, as well as Rovers legends Brian Stock, Colin Douglas & Colin Cramb. Even record appearance holder James Coppinger got involved last year to show his support.
This year is set to continue where they left off as the “Magic Man” Paul Merson has already signed back up to return and is set to be joined by other former internationals.
Tckets are just £5 adult, £3 child & £10 family (2 adults + 2 child) and family fun activities running pitch side throughout the day.
All in all it’s a perfect and affordable day out for all the family, as we kick off the summer of football.
