Matty Blair and Andy Butler will coach two sides as Rovers’ youth team take on an invited side made up of Retford United’s various age groups and Rovers supporters on Tuesday March 21.

The match, which kicks-off at 7.30pm, concludes a day of community visits from Rovers which are being used to unveil details of the 2017/18 season ticket prices - which have been designed to firmly position the club in the centre of the local community.

Entrance is free and fans are welcome to join us from 7pm at Cannon Park this Tuesday.

Rovers’ entire first-team squad will be joined by chief executive Gavin Baldwin and other members of senior management, along with players from Doncaster Rugby League, throughout the day.

They will visit West Road Primary School in Thorne to join pupils in lessons, listening to stories from children and taking part in PE lessons or question and answer sessions.

This will be followed by a visit to Intake Community Library and PFG Centre, taking part in arts and crafts with the group members as well as hosting a special Club Doncaster bingo session for regulars.

Young football and rugby league players will benefit from coaching sessions with the Rovers and Dons players at AFC Bentley, before heading down to Retford for a fun match which promises plenty of entertainment.

The squad will travel between venues on a Club Doncaster branded First Bus, which will continue to travel the length and breadth of Doncaster for the next 12 months, so keep your eye out for us on the day.

Please join us at Retford United, and follow our progress throughout the day on our social media channels.

It is in our DNA.
