Goals aim for Liam

6 May 2017

Forward Liam Mandeville is targeting more goals and appearances in 2017/18 after a breakthrough campaign.

The striker, who has signed a new contract with improved terms,
says manager Darren Ferguson gets the best out of him.

He said: “He has been excellent with me and all the young lads. As a team we have improved massively this season, and hopefully we can continue that.

“I go into training every day and feel like I am a valuable member of the squad and improving every day because of it - it is a confidence game, and confidence is high.”

The 20-year-old has enjoyed being part of a promotion-winning team, and believes the future is bright for the club.

He added: “My aims are to keep hold of a starting place in the team, and score a few goals to get us up the league. Every team starts with the belief they can do well.

“Rovers are probably more than a League One club, and could quite easily be a Championship side.”

Season memberships for the 2017/18 campaign are on sale now, with prices starting at just £30 for those 17 and under. You can order now from the Box Office in person, by calling 01302 762576 or going to
