New website on way

22 May 2017

Doncaster Rovers will launch a new website at the end of May.

Rovers have opted in to the EFL’s Project Houdini, which saw companies compete for the right to provide websites for the majority of clubs.

The websites have been provided by Realise, while Neulion will provide our new iFollow Rovers service which replaces Rovers Player.

Media manager Luke Thornhill said: “Fans will see an immediate change in design, but the most fundamental changes will be behind the scenes as we have a much more streamlined system to use. The sites have been designed to work better on smartphones and tablets, which we know are used to access the current site more than desktop computers.

“I want to be clear with supporters that when we go live at the end of the month the site will still be a work in progress, and over the summer we will look add more to it.

“I am keen for us to focus our attention on areas supporters want, so welcome any feedback and suggestions via media@clubdoncaster.co.uk - for instance, people have told us many a time they’d like to see consistent information about our youth team on the website so we have plans to add exactly that.”

The new look Rovers website is scheduled to go live on Tuesday May 30.
