Rovers Roadshow

13 November 2017

Players visited primary schools across the region on Monday as part of the Rovers Roadshow.

John Marquis, Alfie May, Rodney Kongolo, Alfie Beestin, Marko Marosi and Tyler Garratt popped into Auckley Primary, Barnby Dun and Bentley High Street schools in visits organised by Club Doncaster Foundation.

The players answered questions from pupils focusing on resilience, as well as explaining how hard they had to work to become professional footballers.

Club Doncaster marketing manager Mark Hughesman said: “We have pushed to get more players out in the community than ever this season, and it was great to be able to stop off at three primary schools.

“The questions were brilliant and you could see the pupils really engaging with the players.

“We also left letters with free tickets for our next home game against MK Dons, so I hope to see a few of the youngsters again then.”

Tickets for the home game against MK Dons are available to purchase now at tickets.clubdoncaster.co.uk.
