Rovers have added to their schoolboy teams with nine players progressing from Development Academy having had outstanding seasons during 2016/17.
Riley Scott, Lincoln Gleadall, Finley Soffe, Theo Roberts, Liam Thompson and Josh Parkinson have all joined Rovers’ U10 side.
George Smith has joined the U9s, while Harry Higgins has been added to the U11s and Ben Stobart is linking up with the U12s.
Ben Mawson, sports development manager and head of the Development Academy, said: “This is great news and showcases the pathway that exists within the Development Academy. Some of these boys have worked with us for several years and really improved during their time with the Development Academy.
“I’d like to wish our newcomers the best of luck, and am sure with the same drive they showed during their trials they will go on to be a real success.”
