Car parks honour legends

13 October 2017

As part of the ongoing development of the Club Doncaster Sports Village, all three car parks at the Keepmoat Stadium have now been renamed after consultation with fans.

Playing legends from both Doncaster Rovers and Doncaster Rugby League Club were considered for the name change, with fans getting the deciding vote.

Car park 1 will now be named the James Coppinger Car Park, car park 2 named the Charlie Williams Car Park and Dons legend St John Ellis is the name assigned to car park 3.

Marketing manager Mark Hughesman said: “We are thrilled to be able to celebrate Club Doncaster legends in a way that is not only visible to our supporters, but also to the people of Doncaster.

“Thank you to all the supporters who nominated a wide-ranging list of players, your views are incredibly important to us and we will continue to work with you to enhance your matchday experience.”
