The success of last season’s promotion charge has been echoed this summer by an influx of new and renewed commercial support for the club.
Through the Club Doncaster ‘Official Partnership’, the commercial team has been busy recruiting new partners, eager to work with the club to pursue their business objectives.
The ‘Official Partnership’ has five distinct levels – Platinum +, Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze – allowing partners to engage with the club at a level that suits their business.
Andrew Whitham, head of commercial affairs at Club Doncaster, said the club had been overwhelmed by the support shown by the local business community.
He said: “Our promotion season last year was obviously a fantastic time to be involved with the club. It is clear to see that businesses throughout Doncaster and beyond have been keen to share in the good feeling surrounding Doncaster Rovers at present.
“It goes without saying that working with Virgin Trains as our front of shirt sponsor is huge for the club, but that was followed by a wave of support at all the other levels of the ‘Official Partnership’ package.”
Since the new ‘Official Partnership’ was launched in June, the club has secured more than 40 new commercial partners and are still on the look out for businesses who want to work with the club.
The package includes a range of promotional, advertising, hospitality and partner benefits that are flexible enough to suit any business.
Andrew added: “The real value in joining the club as an ‘Official Partner’ is the opportunity to work closely with all of the other businesses involved as partners, as well as working closely with the club.
“In addition, more than 500,000 people visit the Club Doncaster Sports Village and Keepmoat Stadium every year, making us one of the key places to expose your business in the region.”
