Rovers legends are back

24 April 2018

On Sunday June 3 the Doncaster Rovers Legends are set to play the Leeds United Legends, all in the aid of charity.

Both teams on the day will be joined by local fundraisers, all dedicated to raising money for local cancer charity the Eve Merton Dreams Trust.

The charity itself benefits local cancer patients and their surrounding families, they answer unfulfilled dreams, grant final wishes and do anything they can to ease the pain and negatively that goes hand in hand with the word Cancer.

The game will be hosted here, at the Keepmoat Stadium, with a 3pm kick-off.

The Yorkshire derby will showcase a host of names from the club’s recent past. So will the memories of James Hayter and the 2008 play-off final dominate the Leeds Class of 92, or will the Leeds Legends take revenge for their 2008 counterparts?

One thing’s for certain, both the club and the charity have been adamant they do not want to over inflate the prices for the game.

We want all Rovers & football fans to come along and enjoy the event, to cheer on some old heroes and have a great, affordable, family fun day this World Cup Summer.

Tickets are available now via the Club Doncaster Box Office at the Keepmoat Stadium, by calling 01302 762576 or going to tickets.clubdoncaster.co.uk.

Prices:

  • £5 adult
  • £3 child
  • £10 family (2 adults & 2 child)
  • £15 VIP (limited numbers – meet the players, only available directly via the charity, email: info@evestrust.co.uk)

As the charity is run 100 per cent by volunteers, any monies spent at the event from tickets, programmes nd raffle, will go to help local cancer sufferers. So you get to enjoy a great day and your raising money at the same time.
