Club Doncaster groundsman William Baxter represented the town on the global stage for Team England in the CPISRA World Games in Barcelona.
William came third with a throw of 10.23m in the F36 shot put final behind Paralympic and World Championship gold medalists from Poland and the United Arab Emirates.
He also threw 35.37m to set a new national record in discus and came third behind the same two opponents. In javelin he threw a new national record of 24.39m and came second behind the Polish world record holder.
William was also joined by teammate Leaha Dixon who came second in the 400m finishing behind the current Australian champion.
