Saturday August 11 sees the launch of the brand new Fan Park at Doncaster Rovers, and the emerging music showcase in conjunction with Sine FM.
Situated in Rovers Square, outside the Belle Vue Bar at the Keepmoat Stadium West Stand, the new Fan Park will host street food trucks and will be open at 1pm.
Kicking off the live entertainment will be Nick Akester, from local band ‘mommas days are done’ with an acoustic set at 1.45pm. Nick is currently working with Doncaster based Higher Rhythm, a music development company and recording studio for emerging artists, producing music for commercial release.
Following Nick onto the Fan Park stage, Narelle Sindos will be asking club legend Glynn Snodin his thoughts ahead of the match.
Daniel Parker Smith - from the harriets, will present an acoustic set right after Glynn. The harriets are a Yorkshire based guitar pop band who have recently completed the 'breakthrough artist programme' run, again, by parent company of Sine FM, Higher Rhythm.
With all entertainment complete by 2.40pm, fans can then make their way into the stands ready for a 3pm kick off where Rovers face Wycombe Wanderers in the first 2018/19 Sky Bet League One home game of the season.
Rovers are looking to build on the victory against Southend when Wycombe Wanderers visit the Keepmoat Stadium in the first home game of the season on Saturday August 11.
