Foodbank collection at Wycombe game

Rovers supporters will be invited to help those less fortunate in the local area with the return of a fans-led collection for Doncaster Foodbank prior to Saturday's visit of Wycombe Wanderers.

Fans can also leave donations at the Club Doncaster Box Office or club shop on non-matchdays.

Suggested items are:

  • Soup
  • Cereal
  • Pasta
  • Rice
  • Pasta sauce
  • Beans
  • Tinned meat
  • Tinned vegetables
  • Tea/coffee
  • Tinned fruit
  • Biscuits

Non-food items are also welcome, such as:

  • Toiletries – deodorant, toilet paper, shower gel, shaving gel, shampoo, soap, toothbrushes, tooth paste, hand wipes
  • Household items – laundry liquid detergent, laundry powder, washing up liquid
  • Feminine products – sanitary towels and tampons
  • Baby supplies – nappies, baby wipes and baby food. (Please note, due to advice from UNICEF they cannot accept formula milk)
Rovers are looking to build on their opening-day victory when Wycombe Wanderers visit in the first home game of the season on Saturday August 11.
