Matty Blair helped the latest Fit Rovers inductees settle into their course recently as he takes on a new role as ambassador for Club Doncaster Foundation's flagship scheme.
The Rovers midfielder welcomed 27 men onto the new course, helping them record their initial measurements of weight, height and blood pressure.
Matty will be joining the men more regularly on a Thursday night at the Keepmoat Stadium, as they bid to follow in the footsteps of the eight previous courses who have between them lost an incredible amount of weight.
Fit Rovers is Club Doncaster Foundation's pioneering adult fitness course based at the Keepmoat Stadium, aimed at men over the age of 30, and is free of charge for participants.
The follow on veteran sessions are available at just £2 and offer football sessions, circuits and various cycle routes around Doncaster.
