Rovers' expanded video coverage in 2018/19 has seen the club's YouTube channel hit another landmark.

The channel now has more than 8,000 subscribers, with Rovers' media team putting more great content up throughout the season than ever before.

Media manager Luke Thornhill said: "It's great that our increased content has seen us push over the 8,000 mark, the challenge now for us is to ensure we keep delivering the content.

"This summer marked an increase in our use of YouTube and iFollow Rovers service - and on YouTube there will be parts of our press conferences from before and after every game as well as coverage of other events in addition to the match highlights we've always had."

iFollow Rovers remains the most comprehensive way to follow Rovers, with access to full-match replays with commentary and live audio or visual feeds of games based on location, but the club are putting out more free content than ever.

Luke added: "Subscribers to iFollow Rovers will continue to get access to all our videos and get them first, our post-match videos this season have all been up the evening of the game itself, but we wanted to make sure the wider fanbase got a good service as well - with more than ever on YouTube or our website as freeview for anyone who has registered with the site.

"It is early days in the season, but the metrics so far are really positive and look to justify the investment made supporting the media team this summer."
