Marko Marosi is looking to build on an impressive start to the season when Rovers host Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday.
The Chairboys visit the Keepmoat Stadium this weekend for Rovers' first home game of the 2018/19 Sky Bet League One season, and Marosi says the side are looking for improvements despite an opening day win at Southend United.
"Wycombe have just come up to this league so they'll be full of confidence and, just like every team will be when they come here, they'll be up for it - but we just have to make sure we stay focused on our own game," he said.
"We want to give the fans some excitement and something to shout about, we want to push on and get as many points on the board as we possibly can, we play good, positive, attacking football and we feel the team can score a lot of goals.
"As players we just concentrate on ourselves as a team, we just want to improve all the time - we're playing a great brand of attacking football that really suits us, but we can always find things to do better."
Marosi put in an impressive performance in the 3-2 victory over Southend last Saturday, pulling off some superb saves during the game, and he says he is looking to push himself further this season.
"I thought I did well and made some good saves but there are always things that I feel I can improve on, where I feel I can do better or I maybe got lucky at times, but you often have to be as a goalkeeper," he added.
"I want to play as many games as possible, but at the end of the day, both myself and Ian Lawlor respect the manager's decision over who starts, when either of us are playing, the other wants us to do well because we have such a great relationship."
Rovers are looking to build on the victory against Southend when Wycombe Wanderers visit the Keepmoat Stadium in the first home game of the season on Saturday August 11.
