Rovers supporters voted Alfie May as their Man of the Match following Tuesday’s 2-1 defeat at home to Blackpool in the Carabao Cup.
The striker scored his first goal of the 2018/19 season with a thunderous strike which clipped the underside of the bar giving Tangerine goalkeeper Mark Howard no chance.
May beat off competition from Matty Blair, Niall Mason and Joe Wright that supporters could vote for on Rovers' official Twitter page.
The 25-year-old collected 75 per cent of the vote, with Wright coming in second with nine per cent.
The player with the most combined wins over the course of the campaign will be named Supporters' Player of the Year at the end of season awards ceremony.
