Club Doncaster chief executive says the organisation will continue to enjoy a close relationship with the Belles, despite them opting to play their home games away from the Keepmoat Stadium for the 2018/19 season.

The Belles have worked closely with Club Doncaster, and will continue to use the Keepmoat Stadium as a base for training and their regional talent club.

Gavin said: “We’ve been in constant dialogue about working with the Belles, we have looked at a number of ways of working together and this will continue going forward.

“The Belles are an historic club and everyone at Club Doncaster wishes them well as they seek to continue making their mark on the game.”

The Belles will play their FA Women's Premier League Northern Division fixtures at Oxford Street, home of Rossington Main.

A Belles statement read: “Doncaster Rovers Belles would like to reassure fans that we will continue our relationship with Doncaster Rovers and Club Doncaster.

“We are proud to have been part of the Rovers family since 2003. However, for a number of reasons, the Belles coaching and commercial staff feel that Rossington will be a more suitable home for the club this season.

“The Belles will continue to work in close partnership with both parties, including running training and our Regional Talent Club at the Keepmoat Stadium facilities and using the Rovers name.”
