The man on-loan from Leeds United scored the opener in the weekend's victory over the Chairboys, beating off close competition from Herbie Kane, who put in an impressive performance on his debut at the Keepmoat Stadium.
Fellow goal scorer Joe Wright and skipper Tommy Rowe made up the quartet of nominees that supporters could vote for on Rovers' official Twitter page.
Wilks collected 56 per cent of the vote after scoring his second goal in as many games, with Kane coming in second with 39 per cent.
The player with the most combined wins over the course of the campaign will be named Supporters' Player of the Year at the end of season awards ceremony.
Rovers return to the Keepmoat Stadium on Tuesday August 21 when they face Shrewsbury Town in Sky Bet League One.
