Andy Butler says Rovers can get even better despite Saturday’s 2-0 win at Charlton stretching his side’s unbeaten run to five games.

Rovers made their way into the hat for Monday’s Emirates FA Cup third round draw following two goals in the final 25 minutes, and Butler says the side will be drawing on their experiences from the win and look to improve.

“It was a far from polished performance from us, but at the end of the day it’s job done and we’re into the hat for the next round, we’ve come here and got a couple goals and kept a clean sheet so we’re happy,” he said.

“We’ve taken more control as the game’s gone on, scored a couple goals and then Ian Lawlor pulled off a great save to stop them from getting back into it.

“There were little bits where we didn’t do things right, but we’re going to work on that and be ready for the next game, we’re looking to kick on from this now.”

Rovers Half Season Memberships are available now – online at, at the Club Doncaster Box Office in person or via telephone 01302 762576.
