Doncaster sports fans can get to know their region's stars better than ever with the launch of a new magazine from Club Doncaster.

The first issue of DNA Quarterly is available from the Box Office at the Keepmoat Stadium now, and features exclusive interviews with the likes of John Marquis, Grant McCann, Herbie Kane and James Coppinger.

The magazine will cover the whole of Doncaster sport, with the first issues also including exclusive interviews with Doncaster RLFC head coach Richard Horne and professional boxer Gav McDonnell.

Club Doncaster media manager Luke Thornhill, who edits the magazine, said: "There are so many good stories around local sport that we felt were worth telling, and this is one of the ways we can help fans get to know their local representatives a little better.

"We plan to produce four issues a year and to spend time getting to know all the sports teams and sports people in Doncaster. We sat down with Gav McDonnell for this issue, and I'm sure we'll do features on his brother Jamie as well as people like the Knights and Belles. We want to give people an insight into the big names like James Coppinger, while also ensuring they can find out about upcoming sport at grassroots level."

The first issue of DNA Quarterly costs just £4 and is available from the Club Doncaster Box Office now. It can also be purchased online at tickets.clubdoncaster.co.uk
