Top scorer John Marquis hopes his and Rovers' recent form can continue into the New Year.
Marquis has scored 15 goals this season, equalling his total tally from the 2017/18 campaign, and has hit an impressive run of form hitting five goals in seven appearances in the run up to Christmas.
"I'm on 15 goals this season which matches what I got last year and I'm going pretty well in-terms of where I am among the league's top scorers," he said.
"You go through good and bad patches and I'm on a good one at the moment and I want it to continue. Hopefully I can have a four and half month good patch until the end of the season."
Rovers face a busy festive period with a journey to Fleetwood Town on Boxing Day and a trip to Gillingham just three days later, and Marquis feels these matches could prove decisive in setting up Rovers for the second part of the season.
"Between now and the end of January the league is really going to start taking shape - you'll have gone over the half way point, so you'll have played everyone once," he added.
"We've got to look at ourselves first and foremost, we've got some good games coming up, a couple of tough ones away over Christmas and then back at home for New Year. If we can take some good points from that then we'll be going in to January with confidence.
"We're doing everything we can on the pitch to make sure everyone has a very good Christmas. As long as we keep getting points on the board and putting in performances like we have been, I think we'll be there or there about come the end of the season."
Rovers return to the Keepmoat Stadium to take on Rochdale on New Year's Day, tickets are available from tickets.clubdoncaster.co.uk.
