Defender Danny Amos is looking to keep improving after Rovers exercised an option in his contract to keep him at the club until the summer of 2020.
Amos has impressed for Rovers’ Development side this season, as well as featuring for the first-team in the Checkatrade Trophy.
He said: “It’s a really proud moment for myself and my family, at the time of year it is it’s a great boost just before Christmas.
“I’ve worked hard since the new manager came in, I think everyone felt they had a good opportunity to try and impress him.
“Now that I can focus on my football, the challenge for me is to keep working hard and improve my game as much as possible.”
