Paul Stancliffe is pleased that U18s captain AJ Greaves has signed his first professional deal with Doncaster Rovers.
Greaves is the second U18s player to sign professional terms at the club after left-back Branden Horton signed a deal earlier in the season.
Stancliffe said: “I’m delighted for AJ, he deserves it. He’s been a fantastic captain and leader and has grown a lot as a person and player.
“He’s got a good character about him which is good to have around the club and he listens to what is being asked of him and always tries to put it into practice.
“His improvement over the last few years has been very good, which is a credit to his character and all the hard work he puts in.”
