Rovers U18 coach Paul Stancliffe has told Danny Amos that his loan move to Buxton is vital for his development.
The young left-back has joined the Evo-Stik Premier Division side for a month, and made his debut against Barwell on Saturday.
Amos is a second-year scholar, but has already signed on pro terms after a breakthrough year which has seen him represent Northern Ireland U19s and make his first start for the first-team.
Stancliffe said: “Danny’s done ever so well this season. He has made his international debut, made his first-team debut and got his professional contract.
“So him going out gives him a bit more men’s football, that’s important f or him as getting that experience is what will help him develop.”
