Ben Whiteman believes Rovers are capable of getting a positive result against second placed Shrewsbury Town this weekend.
Rovers travel to the Montgomery Waters Meadow Stadium unbeaten in six league games, and Whiteman says they go into the game with a nothing to fear attitude.
He said: “I think we’ve got to go into each game believing we can come away with a win, we’ve shown we can beat anyone on our day and have looked good recently.
“The points have been matching the performance in recent weeks, which in the early part of the season wasn’t happening so it’s been pleasing to get some rewards.
“We definitely feel that we owe Shrewsbury one after how the last game went, it wasn’t a nice feeling to concede in the last minutes especially given how well we had played on the night.”
With a local derby against Scunthorpe United just around the corner, Whiteman says it is important that they take one game at a time in Sky Bet League One.
He added: “For us it’s all about focusing on the Shrewsbury game and taking that for what it is, once we’ve played them then we’re straight into looking at Scunthorpe on Tuesday night.
“The frustration from last week can be turned into a positive, it shows how much we care and how much we want to win.”
