Mitchell Lund is looking forward to improving his game under Grant McCann after being taken off the transfer list by the manager.
The full-back has featured in both pre-season games so far, and scored in the second-half of the 5-0 win over Frickley Athletic.
He said: “I feel really good at the minute, it’s great to be back here and getting some minutes under my belt.
“It’s hard coming back in pre-season knowing you’re on the transfer list, but hopefully now I’ve showed the gaffer that I’m good enough to stay here.
“I’ve played quite a few games in League One so I’ve done it before, and I’m confident I can do well at this level again.”
Rovers kick-off their Sky Bet League One campaign at Southend United on Saturday August 4, before their first home outing against Wycombe Wanderers the following Saturday.
