Midfielder Matty Blair says that the foundations are there for Rovers to progress in the 2018/19 Sky Bet League One season.
Blair made 46 appearances in all competitions during 2017/18, and is hoping he can add more goals to his game this campaign.
“The foundations are there from last season to take into this one to have a real go and push to be higher this season, it is a very exciting time for the club and I hope we have a real go for it this season,” he said.
“It was a solid season last season on the back of getting promoted the year before from League Two, but we all feel that we should have finished further up the table.
“For me, my targets don’t change. I want to try and chip in with as many goals and assists as possible and get myself as fit as possible.”
