The 2018 World Cup finals kick off on Thursday afternoon and five-time winners of the competition, Brazil, are 4-1 favourites to take home the trophy.

The current holders Germany, who saw off South American side Argentina by a goal to nil in the final in Brazil in 2014, are priced at 5-1 to retain the trophy.

Spain are 11-2, France are 6-1, Argentina and Belgium are at 10-1.

Gareth Southgate’s England are priced at 16-1 to repeat their heroics of the 1966 World Cup.
