Rovers remain on course to appoint a manager before the start of pre-season training after drawing up a shortlist of candidates.
Interested applicants had until 5pm on Monday June 11 to apply, with a good selection of candidates for the Rovers board to choose from.
First interviews for the role will be carried out on Friday June 15, with a decision likely the following week before the players return for the start of pre-season training on Monday June 25.
