Luke McCullough earned his sixth cap for Northern Ireland when he played in Sunday’s international friendly against Costa Rica.
The Rovers midfielder came off the bench after 72 minutes, replacing Craig Cathcart, but could not prevent his side falling to a 3-0 defeat.
Michael O’Neill’s side had already conceded three goals without reply by the time McCullough entered the match, taking a berth in the holding midfield role he has occupied so often for Rovers in the 2017/18 season.
