Rovers will begin their 2018/19 Sky Bet League One season with a trip to Roots Hall to face Southend United on Saturday August 4.
Rovers’ first home game of the league campaign will be against newly-promoted Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday August 11, before heading to Burton Albion a week later. Rovers round off the month with two home games against Shrewsbury Town and Portsmouth respectively.
The Christmas period sees Rovers travelling across the M62 to face Joey Barton’s Fleetwood Town on Boxing Day, before heading south to Priestfield Stadium to take on Gillingham on Saturday December 29.
2019 will open with a home fixture against Rochdale on New Year’s Day, with Southend United making the trip to the Keepmoat Stadium on Saturday January 5.
The Easter fixtures see Rovers travel to the north east of England to take on Sunderland, currently scheduled for Friday April 19, with a home game against Sky Bet League Two champions Accrington Stanley on Easter Monday.
We will round the 2018/19 Sky Bet League One season off at the Keepmoat Stadium as we take on Coventry City on Saturday May 4.
