Club Doncaster chief executive Gavin Baldwin has thanked fans for their support after an impressive opening day of Season Membership sales.
Fans came down to the Keepmoat Stadium and buying online or over the phone kept the Box Office staff busy on Tuesday, with prizes including games consoles and virtual reality handsets won by some of the early purchasers.
Gavin said: “We’ve again been blown away by the backing of our fans, who came down in numbers for the first day of sales.
“We had more than 200 Season Memberships sold in the first couple of hours, with a constant stream of people coming down throughout the day taking us over the 500 mark.”
There is still an opportunity to gain one of the prizes by becoming one of the first 500 fans to pay in full for an 18/19 Season Membership - though the club expect to pass this figure quickly.
Supporters who have paid in full online or over the phone are eligible for this offer, and can come find out what they have won by heading to the Box Office at the Keepmoat Stadium from Thursday.
Gavin added: “We had 80 left when the Box Office closed on Tuesday, so those who are buying on Wednesday can still get one of our extra prizes. Even if you’re not one of the first 500 to pay in full, we have a daily prize draw which offers some great and unique items - so the earlier you commit to backing us next season the more chances you have to win.“
Everyone who purchases a Season Membership prior to the end of the initial purchase period on April 13 will be included in a daily prize draw - with one supporter who bought theirs on Tuesday set to get their price discounted to just £18.79.
The 2018/19 Silver Memberships are priced from £139 (18-21), £199 (22-24), £219 (senior), £299 (adult).
