Teams from across the UK and Europe will compete in the second annual Kids Cup, which will be the centrepiece of a Festival of Sport held at the Keepmoat Stadium this May Bank Holiday weekend (May 25-28).
The four-day Festival of Sport weekend includes the Doncaster Business for the Community Cup, the inaugural Club Doncaster Foundation Awards, a unique three-a-side tournament and a girls’ tournament.
Following last year’s success, this year more than 84 teams will compete for the 2018 Kids Cup that will run on the main pitch at Keepmoat Stadium on Saturday May 26 and 27.
Two teams already committed to joining the weekend will be top Premier League outfits Manchester City and Leicester City, with European giants Benfica also looking to make the trip across to South Yorkshire.
The Kids Cup will run for teams aged between U7 and U12 and is open to all grassroots and professional sides. For further details call the Club Doncaster Academy on 01302 762562.
