Manager Darren Ferguson has confirmed that defender Tom Anderson will continue his rehabilitation with Rovers.
The 24-year-old who is on loan from Premier League side Burnley suffered a broken cheekbone against Rotherham United, and Ferguson says he is hoping to have him back for the final six games of the season.
“Tom Anderson has come back to us and he is going to do his rehab here, you would think he would be involved from April 14 to play and from that point we would have six games until the end of the season," he said.
“We will have to see if Tom wears a mask from that point onwards but we will have to wait and see, it is not a problem if he has to because you see it more often that not with those kind of injuries."
