Jacob Fletcher was delighted to be able to contribute to the U18s 5-1 victory over Lincoln City U18s on Thursday afternoon.
Fletcher has played twice for the Rovers first team this season, and feels the coaching staff at the club have helped him to develop into a better player.
He said: “Darren’s good with all of the youth team and we couldn’t ask for more from him from our perspective. The staff here have guided me through it all and given me good advice.
“Personally, I think I’ve done well, I’ve enjoyed it and hopefully there’s more to come. I want to play in the first-team as many times of possible and do well and help the team.”
