Tommy Rowe says it will be a proud moment if he makes his 100th Rovers appearance against Bradford City on Monday.
Rowe has been with the club permanently since the summer of 2016 after an initial loan spell from Wolverhampton Wanderers, and says the milestone has come around quickly.
He said: "The games I had on loan have helped me to get there before the end of the season, it's a proud moment for me and it's a good landmark to reach at any club.
"It's been made even more special by the journey we've been on since I've been at the club, I'm on the verge of reaching 100 games and now it is about kicking on again."
The game at the Keepmoat Stadium provides Rovers with an opportunity to get back to winning ways in Sky Bet League One, and Rowe says the squad are focused on getting the three points.
He added: "We always focus on what we can do as a team, we don't get too worried in terms of what the opposition can do as it's all about what we can do to hurt them.
"This week has been good because when you have a break between games it allows players to get back fit and it means you can build some consistency in training.
"Every player wants to be playing on a regular basis as you get confidence from that, but sometimes a big gap can help you keep fresh and prepared."
