Rowe sees Rovers potential

16 March 2018

Tommy Rowe believes Rovers have a lot of potential in their squad as he looks ahead to the 2018/19 campaign.

The influential midfielder has been particularly impressed by the improvement of Alfie Beestin, among other young players at the club.

He said: "I've praised Alfie all season for how well he's done when he's been in the team, he's had an injury recently but he's already had such a big impact for us.

"He is quite a shy lad but his confidence has improved, there are a lot of boys like that within the squad and it's easy to forget how young they are at times.

"It's good because it shows how much quality we have within the group, it's exciting to be a part of and see how they can progress going into next season."

Rowe says a strong end to the current campaign will see them take some momentum into next season.

He added: "We're in a position where a few good results would see us go from strength to strength, I think we all know that performances have been good but we want to be higher in the table.

"We need to take care of what we can have a say in, the manager has set us out a plan and it is important that we stick to that as much as possible."

Rovers’ Season Memberships for 2018/19 are on sale from March 20 2018, with great rewards such as Xbox One S consoles, virtual reality headsets and smart TV boxsets for the first 500 fans who pay in full for their Season Membership. There is also a daily prize draw which runs for the duration of the early bird window, from March 20 until April 13, with unique prizes up for grabs for those who have committed to following Rovers at all home games (for Season Memberships bought either in full or via direct debit).
