Development manager John Schofield says defender Shane Blaney has impressed him during his time at the club.
The Irishman, who is set to make his second appearance in a Rovers shirt against Walsall in a development game on Tuesday, signed from League of Ireland side Finns Harp during the January transfer window, and Schofield says he is has bought into the Doncaster Rovers ethos.
“He has bought into the vision that we want from the players from top to bottom at this club, he has come a long way since signing with us, I’m really pleased to have him,” he said.
“I like Shane, he is a very aggressive when he is competing for the ball whether it’s on the ground or up in the air, he starting to play the way we want him to play.”
